Employee Growth and Achievement

Turas Nua recently celebrated the culmination of its latest iteration of Elevate, a programme designed to enhance the career pathways of employees across the business.

Elevate Programme presentations, held as a testament to the professional growth of its participants, showcased an impressive journey of skill development and leadership enhancement.

The event spotlighted two distinct strands of the programme: Manager Level 1 and Manager Level 2, each tailored to cater to different tiers of managerial expertise.

The presentations provided an insightful view into the personal and professional strides made by each participant.

Manager Level 1 focused on those taking their initial steps into management, offering them foundational skills in leadership and team management.

In contrast, Manager Level 2 was designed for more seasoned managers, aimed at refining and expanding their existing skills to further their leadership potential.

A notable aspect of the event was the attendance of members of Turas Nua leadership, underscoring the importance and support for continuous learning and development within the organisation.

Another highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates, a formal recognition of the hard work and dedication of the participants.

Colin Donnery, Group CEO of the FRS Network, and Aoife Grant, Chief Marketing Officer of the FRS Network, had the honour of presenting these certificates to the programme participants.

Central to the success of these presentations was the role of Lynda Loughnane, Turas Nua's Learning and Development Manager.

Her facilitation not only ensured a smooth flow of the event but also reinforced Turas Nua's commitment to fostering a learning environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

Congratulations to everyone involved!

Just 32% of people with disabilities in Ireland are employed. Learn how Turas Nua supports employers to build inclusive workplaces and close the gap. October is Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to reflect on progress, but also on the challenges that remain. In Ireland, the disability employment gap is the widest in Europe. The European Disability Forum (2023 ) indicates that only 32% of people with disabilities are in work, compared to the EU average of 51%. People with disabilities are more than twice as likely to be unemployed as non-disabled peers. Inclusion is a social priority, but it’s also a national challenge.
