At Turas Nua, we recognise and deeply value the remarkable contributions of the women who form the backbone of our organisation. Their dedication and expertise drive our mission forward, ensuring that individuals from all walks of life have equal opportunities to grow and thrive.

Our guiding principle, “Everybody’s story matters,” shapes everything we do and reinforces our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. We are proud to support people on their journey to employment, helping them unlock their potential and build brighter futures.

This year, as we embrace the International Women's Day 2025 theme, “Accelerate Action,” we reaffirm our dedication to advancing gender equality. We are committed to taking decisive steps to break down barriers and create an environment where every woman can achieve her fullest potential.

Together, we can accelerate the pace of change and build a more inclusive future for all.

We are also proud to celebrate the achievements of women everywhere and continue to champion the cause of equality with passion and purpose.

Just 32% of people with disabilities in Ireland are employed. Learn how Turas Nua supports employers to build inclusive workplaces and close the gap. October is Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to reflect on progress, but also on the challenges that remain. In Ireland, the disability employment gap is the widest in Europe. The European Disability Forum (2023 ) indicates that only 32% of people with disabilities are in work, compared to the EU average of 51%. People with disabilities are more than twice as likely to be unemployed as non-disabled peers. Inclusion is a social priority, but it’s also a national challenge.
